After Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy is all set to play double role in the upcoming season of  Colors Naagin Season 2, according to reports. The petite actress will play the role of both mother and daughter in the next edition of Naagin, set to premiere next month.

According to reports, Shivanya's daughter will be called Shivangi and will look exactly like her. Shivanya and Shivangi together will protect Naagmani from Mahishmatis and their queen, played by Aashka Goradia.

At the end of Naagin Season 1, Shivanya was shown as pregnant and it was said that she may or may not give birth to a ichchadhaari Naagin. Since Shivanya has lost her powers in the previous season, her daughter might take on the bataon from her.

Meanwhile, Sudha Chandran and Adaa Khan have been roped in for the fresh season, while Arjun Bijlani aka Ritik will most likely be no longer be part of the show.

Naagin Season 2 will air in October this year.
